Malta?

Before my trip to this destination, if anyone had mentioned it to me I wouldn't have been very keen to experience it. However.......I was pleasantly surprised with what Malta had to offer. This destination gets 3 1/2 stars from me :)

The group I was travelling with were greeted at arrivals and escorted to vintage Rolls Royce's....we were then driven through town for about 10 minutes and ended up at a harbour where we boarded a gorgeous boat (oh it's such a hard life:) lol. After about three glasses of champagne and some yummy nibbles we were approaching one of the largest hotel resorts on the Island .....Corinthia Hotel St Georges Bay.

Travelling in style

Malta is a Southern European Country which is situated centrally in the Mediterranean. The country has three main Islands being Malta Island, Gozo and Comino. I stayed on Malta Island in one of the bay areas called St Georges Bay but visited the other islands while I was there. If considering Malta for a holiday I would highly recommend that you stay in St Georges Bay which has a buzzing nightlife, great restaurants and a golden sand beach. With package holidays starting from just £400 per person, this is an ideal holiday destination for you and your friends to visit if your looking for a cheap but fun packed holiday.

Night life - we visited Paceville on a Friday evening which is an area dedicated to bars, clubs and restaurants. Paceville is on a steep hill with hundreds of steps and venues on every inch of the hill to your left and right so your bound to find somewhere ideal to dance the night away. Entry is free at the majority of the clubs and they even give you free drink vouchers on entry!!! (Errrm...yes please!!!)

Fun things to do:
Take a seaplane ride to one of the other Islands.....

Have a 4x4 tour of the island.........
Admire the views from your ocean facing bedroom  :-P

While Malta's St Georges Bay is for the younger generation of about 24 - 34 year olds, Gozo Island is more suited for the older generation and families! Overall Malta is a great destination with plenty to offer as long as you do your research before you go......

Interesting fact: Language spoken is Maltese.

TFR...love DTJ.xoxo
